Validating your long stay visa is the single most important thing you do in your first weeks. Go to the official ANEF portal within three months of landing and follow the validation flow. The portal shows the exact fiscal stamp amount for students at the payment screen, and that amount is being revised this year, so trust what the portal quotes rather than older figures floating online. Save the confirmation. It is your proof of legal stay until your card arrives.
