Mitra AI follows a strict rule. It answers only from sources it can cite. No general knowledge filler, no guesswork.
The grounding comes from two layers.
The first is FranceMitra's own guides, written by us for Indians moving to France. They cover the surfaces that catch newcomers off-guard: CAF, Ameli, the prefecture, French classes, banks, transport, and the small admin steps nobody warns you about.
The second is the open data set published by the French government. We pull in the themes that matter most for newcomers: immigration, housing, and health. When the French government updates a fiche, we refresh ours within the week so the answer you see is the one currently in force.
If Mitra AI ever lands on a question with low confidence, it tells you so rather than guessing. That is the rule.
